Every assignment is an opportunity for a great idea, if you are willing to approach it that way, and willing to put in the effort.
That’s why I like this bus wrap for the San Antonio McDonald’s Co-Op so much. And that’s why this bus wrap is Ad of the Week. A lot of agencies would have just phoned it in and waited for a more “glamorous” assignment. But that’s not how you be significant for your clients.
For this Bundt Cake bus wrap, the creatives didn’t just think outside the box, they literally thought of the box. A bigger-than-life box of pastries driving around San Antonio, with a headline that makes you smile.
I don’t know how you can see this bus and not want to go to McDonald’s for a pastry. Which is exactly what a great ad is supposed to do.
This was Moroch clicking on all cylinders. From the O&E folks finding a unique place for a McCafé mini-bundt cake launch, to creatives thinking up a message that is fun, powerful, and pretty darn irresistible.
Congratulations to everyone who worked on this. And if you are in the San Antonio area, please do not put your tongue on the actual bus. That is probably illegal.
Enjoy.
