One of Moroch’s principles is to talk about solutions rather than problems, as well as acting on those solutions. Sometimes that means building on efforts to alleviate society’s burdens – and creatively at that. Recently, 96 Morochians teamed up to support the Midas
Drive Out Hunger campaign in a “Canned Castle” competition to provide hunger relief for local communities. Participants brought and built over 3,866 lbs worth of castles to give back to the lives around us who need the most help. Overall, 16 teams donated 3,218 meals to the North Texas Food Bank and Tarrant Area Food Bank.
Drive Out Hunger is a community effort led by our client Midas, who’s working with local food banks to bring food, funds and hands-on assistance to relief efforts in communities where customers live and work. Nearly 50 million people in the U.S. and Canada are burdened by food insecurity, not knowing where their next meal is coming from and our combined efforts can help to relieve those burdens.
To make people’s lives easier, shop dealers have turned their lobbies into food collection sites across North America. The company also launched a hunger-fighting road trip, traveling 10,000 miles to 25 cities to raise awareness and inspire other to pitch in. For Midas, this is a long-term solution to the problem of hunger – and here at Moroch, we’ll continue to help.
