As part of our ongoing digital expansion, we are thrilled to welcome Dennis Wakabayashi as the Director of Digital and Social Strategy on the McDonald’s account. In this role, Wakabayashi will be leveraging emerging technologies in order to create more meaningful and engaging relationships on a local level between customers and the McDonald’s brand.
“Being an independent agency, we’re fortunate to have the ability to broaden our capabilities to ensure we meet and exceed our clients’ evolving needs,” said Brad B. McCormick, Chief Digital Officer at Moroch. “Welcoming Dennis to our team, the sixth addition to our Digital bench this year, shows that we’re taking great strides to build this discipline and become an agency known for its great work in both the traditional and digital spaces.”
With over 20 years of experience, Wakabayashi has held management and director roles at Boston Market, Verio, Karsh and Hagan Advertising, Summato and Internet Waterway Online. In his most recent role at Dallas-based, Mary Kay Inc. he specialized in customer relationship management and social media strategy. Additional client work includes Beck’s Beer, American Crew, K-Mart, Colorado Lottery and McDonald’s.
“There is tremendous growth happening at both Moroch, in terms of investing in expanding their digital portfolio, and McDonald’s in regards to its recent digital branding shift – I am excited to join at the right time to contribute to a digital vision that aligns insights, storytelling, analytics and the most comprehensive field activation team in the nation,” said Wakabayashi.
